About Forest St. Station

“It’s a dog-eat-dog world out there and I’m wearing Milkbone shorts!” That’s a line from a popular 80’s sitcom about a place “where everybody knows your name”.

This line embodies one of the reasons we thought Reno needed a new neighborhood bar… sometimes you just need to escape from the challenges that your day throws at you. Forest St. Station is a neighborhood bar that caters to the local community and builds on the friendly spirit that exists in Northern Nevada.

Forest St. Station was designed to be a highly comfortable tavern where you can meet friends for a drink at the end of the day, or a colleague for a post-work libation, or just stop in to “get your mind right.” Our patrons have told us that they love the openness of the space because it allows them to be a part of the vibrant Cal Ave community that is burgeoning in and around Midtown.

Our goal was to create a light, inviting, comfortable space where everyone in the area can stop by to have a drink, watch a game, or just hang-out with friends.

Our eight draught handles are exclusively focused on local craft beers. And while we have a broad selection of spirits, we really enjoy pouring cocktails that feature the growing breadth of high-quality, locally distilled spirits.

Our bartenders, who have all been working in the community for quite some time, can make a “mean” drink.

But just as important, they will make you feel welcome at Forest St. Station! We encourage our customers to take advantage of the many of take-away food choices that exists in Midtown. Grab your favorite snack and enjoy it along with a cold drink at Forest St. Station!

In conclusion

This is why we think Forest St. Station is the definition of “Neighborhood Libations” in Reno, Nevada!
